KIMBERLY HALLOWELL, speaker, attended UMW meetings with her mother, Angela Hallowell. Angela, Secretary of Program Resources, gave Kim “Free the Children” from the UMW Reading Program for a book report. Kim started a school group about child labor. Because of Kim’s leadership in this group, she attended a youth conference on child labor in Italy.

Kim is a member of the national UMW College Consultative Group. She attends California State University at Monterey Bay, majoring in global studies.

Worship by the TONGAN CHOIR OF CENTENNIAL UMC, SACRAMENTO, was featured.
